The Republic of Slovenia and the State of Israel established diplomatic relations on 28 April 1992, and the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Tel Aviv was opened on 1 August 1994. Relations between the two countries have been traditionally friendly and dynamic, and that is to the benefit of citizens of both countries.

Vignette (Toll sticker)
When driving on motorways and expressways in Slovenia, the use of a Vignette (Toll sticker) is compulsory for cars, motorbikes and double-track motor vechiles, with or without a trailer vehicle, the maximum permissible weight of which does not exceed 3,500 kg.
